My story

Hola! My name is Meritxell Batistti — Merichei is how you pronounce it, and also what my mother calls me, which makes it feel closer to home. 

I came to Amsterdam all the way from Argentina. I studied Architecture & Urbanism in Mendoza, where I had my first encounter with design. That’s where I fell in love with composition and minimalism — I’ve always found beauty in simple, thoughtful details.

Alongside my studies, I started working on design projects, and over time I found my focus: strategic branding and UX/UI.

Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from identity design to full-scale web experiences, supporting companies and artists in building a strong and consistent presence. I’ve explored photography, social media, and marketing as complementary skills — tools that enrich the way a brand shows up in the world.

I’ve never stopped learning. I’ve added SEO and some front-end knowledge to my toolkit — not to do everything, but to better understand how design connects with functionality and performance.

Passion brought me here and it’s what that keeps me moving forward.
